CREATIVITY, ACTIVITY AND SERVICE

The Creativity, Activity, Service, commonly known as CAS, is a component of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The CAS, together with TOK and Extended Essay, is a core element of the programme intended to “educate the whole person” (International Baccalaureate Organization, 2015, p. 3).

CAS develops a spirit of open-mindedness, lifelong learning, discovery and self-reliance. It inspires a sense of responsibility toward all members of the community. It encourages the development of attitudes and traits that will be respected by others, such as determination and commitment, initiative and empathy.
